PREORDER - Los Campesinos! - Green Man A2 Sikscreen Concert Poster

I designed and printed this poster for Los Campesinos!' performance at Green Man Festival. These sold out at the festival itself but the band have very kindly granted me permission to do a reprint.

To ensure nobody misses out, I'm making this 2nd Edition available as a pre-order. I'll keep this open for a couple of weeks and then I'll print posters for everyone who's placed an order up to that point.

(This preorder is open to UK folks only btw - I will ensure there are extras for overseas customers but these will go online later.)

As this is a bit of a bonus edition, I'll be donating some of the profits from these sales to 2 different charities: The Trussell Trust and Medical Aid for Palestinians.

Here's the blurb about my approach with this artwork:

It's rare I draw people in my posters -- but LC!'s music is all about people, friendships and community. Their music has a brilliant way of evoking the stories that come out of the relationships, celebrations, and everyday struggles of people's lives.

That feeling of youthful energy that you get from loving your friends, loving music and community, contrasted with feelings of powerlessness and despair at the corruption and inequality of the systems surrounding us...

I had this idea pop into my head of someone stranded in life, trapped in by crumbling support structures as much as supported by them, dreaming of what life might be down the road. A little bit lonely and still figuring things out. I think we've all been there, I know I have. I hope this conjours a feeling that resonates.

This is a 4 colour screenprint, A2 sized, and will be signed and numbered at the bottom as well as marked '2nd Edition'.

PLEASE NOTE: As this is a preorder, there will be a wait for me to complete the printing, finishing and shipping - I expect to have printed and begin shipping sometime before the end of October but there are always the potential for delays so I'm not putting forward any guarantees other than I'll do my best and cheers for your patience and support!
