SQUID - End of the Road 2025 - A2 silkscreen concert poster

Screenprinted poster for experimental art rockers SQUID who performed at End of the Road Festival 2025.

Their music feels to me like the band members are creating a sort of musical collage, each responding to motifs previously laid down, and not afraid to follow something weird or interesting if it feels right.

To create a visual response for the poster, I wanted to pull something from my subconscious and not over-engineer. I keep sketchbooks and a reoccurring exercise I've found myself doing is filling shapes with textures made up of different cross hatching and brush strokes.

I pulled a few of these out and tried to arrange them with the text in a way that was spontaneous but felt satisfying to me. And this is the end result.

I printed these myself, 2 colours but that red is just the right amount of semi-transparent. A2 sized, the edition is of 50, Signed and numbered at the bottom.
