Screenprinted poster designed and hand printed to commemorate The Magnetic Fields' performance at End of the Road Festival 2022.

Back at the start of lockdown 1, I was still recovering from illness, things were super stressful and there was a lot of well deserved anger at our government's actions. The wife and I were spending an evening doing a jigsaw and listening to 6 Music.

A song was played, only short, the lyrics of which were: 'Billions laughed and no one cried, the day the Politicians died.'

It gave us both a good laugh and released a lot of tension, just at a time when it was really needed.

Anyway, this poster is me trying to convey that mixture of momentary calm and joy during a period of uncertainty and stress.

This screen printed, collectable concert poster (gig poster) is an officially commissioned gig poster, approved by the band, and printed in a limited edition.

It's on heavyweight, 300gsm natural acid-free stock and printed in a very limited edition of only 40. They are numbered and signed in pencil at the bottom.

Shipping: This gig poster is sent carefully bagged and rolled inside a sturdy cardboard tube.
