the Smashing Pumpkins - Cardiff Castle 2024 - silkscreen concert poster

Screen printed, collectable concert poster (gig poster) designed to commemorate The Smashing Pumpkin's show at Cardiff Castle in Wales, as part of the 2024 'The World is a Vampire' Tour.

- Officially commissioned by Collectionzz and approved by the band
- 4 colour silkscreen, hand printed by Prints of Thieves in the UK
- 18 x 24 inches in size; on heavyweight, 300gsm natural acid-free stock
- marked "AP" & signed by me, the artist, in green metallic ink

Some additional information about the editions and how they differ:

These are my Artist Proof (AP) copies. Artist Proofs are given to the artist seperately from the 'main edition' of posters. They are exactly the same print, from the same printing process, the only difference is how they are signed/finished and where they are made available from.

The 'main edition' of the poster has an edition size of 305. These were numbered (by me!) in pencil at the bottom left. These posters were sold from the gig itself, and are available online from the band and Collectionzz's stores. (I believe posters bought directly from Collectionzz feature a holographic sticker on the reverse).

There are 50 Artist Proof copies. They are *not* numbered, nor do they come with a sticker. They are marked "AP" & signed by me (the artist) in green metallic ink at the bottom left.
