Whernside - Yorkshire Three Peaks - Silkscreen Landscape Print
Whernside is one of the mountains of the Yorkshire Three Peaks - the tallest at an elevation of 2415 feet.
It doesn't have a typical 'pointy' mountain shape, and instead in simply a large, long ridge running north to south.
Whernside is often windy and chilly on top, meaning that the winter snow tends to survive up there even when the sun is bright. This view of the mountain is taken from a photo I took while running up there - the sun was out and the sky was clear and beautiful.
This print would make a perfect gift or memento for those who have completed the hiking challenge of the full loop of the Three Peaks, or for those who simply have a love of the outdoors and mountain landscapes.
This is a 2 colour screenprint, hand-printed with water based inks on 260gsm, acid free, recycled Context paper which has a very pleasing natural colour and fiber to it.
This print is now an 'Open Edition' (i.e. not numbered) and is titled, signed & dated at the bottom. It is 12inches square (the same size as an LP record).
This print is sold unframed, and is sent carefully bagged and rolled inside a sturdy cardboard tube.
I also offer the full set of 3 prints for a discounted price.
