These Flowing Hills of Plenty - A2 Landscape Silkscreen Print
Taking part in an exhibition called 'City of Industry', I was asked to create a piece responding to the theme of local heritage. The Yorkshire landscape is something I have always had a real love for, so I knew this was what I wanted to depict.
So here we see the rolling Yorkshire hills, flush with the purple of lavender, and with a few other recognisible elements dotted about. It's semi-abstract, as I wanted to convey the idea of how the landscape forms part of our industrial heritage.
This is a 4 colour screenprint, hand-printed with water based inks on 260gsm, acid free, recycled Context paper which has a very pleasing natural colour and fiber to it. It's a very limited edition of only 20 and is numbered, titled, and signed at the bottom. It is A2 (59 x 41cm) in size.
This print is sold unframed, and is sent carefully bagged and rolled inside a sturdy cardboard tube.
There are now only a couple of these prints left in the limited run.
Postage with tracking is included in the price of this print.
